Risky Handayani (Supervised By : Ayi Yustiati and Widi Setyogati). 2012. The Effectivity of Yolk Egg of Duck As Anaesthetic Agent On Common Carp (Cyprinus Carpio)
Broodstock handling on induced spawning such as hormone injection and stripping can cause broken scales and fins, body injuries to it causes diseases. Natural anesthetic can be done by using yolk egg of duck. The objective of research is to find out effectivity of yolk egg concentration as anasthetic material on common carp (Cyprinus carprio).
The method of research is experimental method using Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The treatments are A : 8 ml/L, B : 10 ml/L, C : 12 ml/L, D : 14 ml/L and E : 16 ml/L. Each treatment repeated three times. The observation variables were done on pre – unconcius time, unconcious time and recovery conscious time on common carp (Cyprinus carprio).
The result of research shows that optimum consentations yolk egg of duck to broodstock handling is 14 ml/L, It produces pre – unconcius time, unconcious time and recovery conscious time 45,32 minute, 6,41 minute and 6,34 minute, respectively.
